Vicky and I have been apart for 4 yrs, and 7 of the last 10. It tested us in ways that are hard to even describe. Medical training challenges everyone in different ways, and this part for me was the hardest. I’m proud, grateful, and unbelievable excited to finally be together! 😃

This is how my mom was all the time. Her love for her family was unapologetic, fierce, and never took a moment off. She would have been 70 today. I miss her every day but we are so unbelievably lucky to have had her.
