We had a great time at the 12th Street Teddy Bear Clinic at Pulaski Heights Elementary School. The UAMS College of Health Professions dental hygiene program collaborated with audiology, medical, and pharmacy to educate elementary school kids in each discipline! #uamshealth #uamschp #dentalhygiene

At UAMS, it’s important to not only keep our patients healthy but to safeguard the health of our employees & students. I got to visit w/ nurses Shannon Weaver & Michael Ferguson at our #TeamUAMS flu shot clinic. This morning pharmacist Lara Rains administered my COVID-19 booster.

Audiology Faculty & students volunteered for community hearing screenings with Altrusa at the Faith Fellowship Church in Hot Springs Village, AR. Around 75 adults were seen for hearing, cognition & balance screenings and counseled on the follow-up recommendations during event.

3rd-year PT student Kimberly Cortez recently presented at Optimize Conference, the Arkansas PT Association state conference.
