Hello my name is Henry Hodge and I will be taking over the twitter page to tell you about my self. I am a 11th grader that goes to John Hay Early College.

Balloon Update: The balloon and its payload touched down around 2:00 pm this afternoon in Lambertville, NJ after reaching a peak altitude of ~80,000 feet. One of our engineering teachers, Mr. Croly, and a parent volunteer picked up the payload so student data analysis can begin.

No child should ever be made to feel like they aren’t smart enough to explore their interests or work towards achieving their dreams. We can show them that they ARE enough by encouraging them to join that new club or take that challenging class.

So today my son did a thing. Trayvon received his first award for his philanthropic work in Cuyahoga County. When I say I’m proud that’s an understatement. At his age he could be doing anything with his time but he chooses to pour into our youth. Congratulations

Today we launched paper rockets with #3Dprinted nose cones and tail fins. In order to figure out the height of the rocket, I created this digital inclinometer on Tinkercad using a Micro:bit Educational Foundation to measure the angle. The highest flight was 171 feet!
