#OTD in 1944, the #WelshGuards were in Brussels for their second day. The city was ecstatic with joy after its liberation. After their record-breaking advance, the soldiers could relax and rejoice. Sadly, heavy fighting awaited them on September 8th near Hechtel. #WWII #History
