It's hard not to love #ACC24 ! I was delighted to give a presentation on mitral valve repair versus replacement in a moderated poster session today. Generous time allocated for the talk with plenty of discussion facilitated by Mayra Guerrero, MD and an engaged audience American College of Cardiology.

Professors, encourage your PhD students to go to conferences. Attend their presentations (but let them field the brickbats themselves). Tell them how well they did. Show them how academic networking happens.
