Venba (2023): this is an indie visual-novel(ish) that focuses on a Tamilian (South Indian) - Canadian immigrant family

This game made me feel a lot of things, and the art style / sound design was my favorite part of the game

Got around playing Venba finally. A short but beautiful and also moving experience. Never thought I would get to play a game with tamil representation in my lifetime and yet here we are. Thanks to everyone who made this wonderful game.

During summer holidays, our high schooler asked me to buy the game Venba, a South Indian cooking game, one of founders follows me here, we bought it. After a week both kids were asking for Kari Dosai(type of Dosai made with minced goat meat as the topping)😍 #RepresentationMatters
