Ok, I got a lot of responses on my -fucking- infix post about one- and two-syllable words. Obviously these can't take the infix. I'm looking for multisyllabic words that can't.

So what about words like capital, timpani, or stereo? Can you infix these?

There's been a lot of criticism in the last decade about linguists using violent example sentences, but I'm kind of shocked to find out the original donkey sentence (from 1328) was perfectly tame!

What was it about 20th century linguists specifically??

This single shot is my earliest memory of Star Wars. The orange blur under the landspeeder was burned into my 5-year-old brain

Good luck finding this unaltered shot in any official release!
