Looks like 6-months have passed since I wrote a postcard to my future self while at the UK Reproducibility Network LNL retreat! Can’t wait til the next retreat!!
Deeply pleased and honoured to receive this prestigious award. Extremely lucky to be supported by Psychology at Soton Southampton Medicine University of Southampton NIHR CRN Wessex Solent NHS Trust Solent Academy of Research and Improvement and all my local, national and international colleagues in the field of #ADHD .
I get that the formal point of the manycoauthors.org exercise is to establish who collected data, and no more.
But still, these numbers are terrible. Remove papers that have been or will be retracted and 15 out of 41 becomes 4 out of 29. #JustPostIt

It turns out the IAT can say very little about individuals…

New paper with Ian Hussey, Taym Alsalti and Ruben C. Arslan (@ruben.the100.ci at b sky). We show that most measures are only used once or twice, with no tendency to agree on gold standards. This is a serious barrier to cumulative science, and leads to lots of papers without meaningful progress.
On BBC Panorama, Mark Horowitz highlights the serious adverse withdrawal effects of antidepressants.
He talks about this with me and how he is reforming clinical practice so others can safely come off them should they choose to do so.
Thank you Mark!
