NEW: Today, President Biden announced funding to help rural communities transition to clean, affordable, and reliable electricity. This will deliver clean, affordable electricity to 5 million rural households and businesses across 23 states.

Our Administration’s new investment in rural electrification will prevent over 43 million tons of greenhouse gas pollution every single year. That’s the equivalent of removing pollution from over 10 million gas-powered cars.

Common-sense gun safety measures won’t bring back the innocent children and educators killed in Georgia yesterday. But they will help save lives and prevent more families and communities from being ripped apart in the future. We can do this.
