Very young children are spending years living in tiny asylum hotel rooms.

Our asylum-seeking mums, and Deputy Director Leyla Williams, spoke to BBC News today about the impact on children. Home Office subcontractor Clearsprings makes millions in profits & should house people properly.

‘Life in a hotel room is the only life her daughter has ever known’.

Shameful trauma we inflict on children because we won’t grant them status. How can it take this long for any decision?! Why do we have to inflict such harm on people?

It's so distressing that as many as 3,045 children seeking asylum are currently living in hotels, where the living conditions are terrible & deeply damaging to their physical & mental health.

Children & families should live in communities and environments where they can thrive.
