The thing about the Philp clip; He didn’t even know the risks to Congolese people after Rwanda killed 13 Congolese refugees.

And he gets to vote on an act declaring it ‘safe’. It’s appalling.

The increasing chaos & risk correlates with increased enforcement and state border hostility. At least it could be mentioned even once in the piece. Oris the point that we’re just supposed to believe that people migrating are fighting over places in boats for giggles?

Lou Calvey If the Rwandan asylum appeals process is entirely separate from the UK in terms of jurisdiction what does putting a white, male, retired, English judge jointly in charge of an African country's own court & recruitment say about colonialism? And about whose process this really is.

This is the precisely the point. An MP voted for a Bill, against the rule of law & fundamental human rights protections, without even grasping the basic facts of the Bill he was voting for. It’s not funny. It’s horrific.

People drowning in the channel is a tragedy, but not an accident. These tragic deaths are a direct and entirely predictable result of UK government policy.

Everytime someone makes a quip about sending someone they don’t like to Rwanda it trivialises it. Even when directed towards the hateful architects of this hateful scheme.

They plan to strap people down & force them into another country. It’s not a clever gotcha. Grow up.

Hatred towards Queer people has become as vicious & everyday as it was when I was a kid. ‘A disgusting insult to Britain’.

Young people are so scared about Rwanda. We are scared. And dealing with so many crises - homelessness, Bibby Stockholm moves, no lawyers, mental health collapses. What a sick country this is.

Threatening to forcibly deport people seeking safety thousands of miles away to an unsafe country is ✈️💔

Add your name to tell the Prime Minister to abandon the and create safe, organised routes to claim asylum ✍️👇

A recognised refugee who travelled to get family out of Gaza is now stuck being refused exit from Egypt and can’t get any help from the Home Office or the Embassy.

This is the trauma of borders.

Many people appalled at our country using brutal force to drag people out and expel them to Rwanda.

Show them it’s not ‘the will of the people’, show them that we welcome refugees, we are better than our government.

Please sign and share this petition.

‘How many are you housing’ dog whistle. An MP trolling the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Someone needs to tell him Lambeth Palace were one of the first to offer a home to refugees under the UKs community sponsorship programme… Lee needs to do his research before blowing his whistle
