Transphobes who spent years claiming to be motivated by women’s rights are starting to grapple with the fact that most women and most feminists disagree with them and aren’t transphobic. But instead of reconsidering their own bigotry, they’ve decided that *women* are the problem.

This isn't a shock. Its been well known that Antoniazzi was a transphobe even whilst being shadow minister for Northern Ireland.

So long as MPs are able to share deliberately inflammatory and bigoted propaganda without consequence Labour is not a safe Party for trans people.

Someone on the r/MMORPG subreddit asked a LLM (large language model) what it thinks the potential for LLMs in MMOs would be. It gave predictable answers. And the current top comment gave one of the most succinct takedowns of 'AI art' I have ever seen.

I grew up in London, loved it and was proud of it. I think it's one of the biggest multicultural success stories on the planet.

Not to say it doesn't have its problems - many of them. But rich and poor, black and white and all shades in between live and love side by side.

Puberty blockers were first given to trans kids in the 1990s.

Decades.

The shame that will follow you around Graham is believing every lie about trans people sockpuppets like @/vdmal put in your teleprompter.

You truly are the Ron Burgundy of 'gender criticism.'

This is shocking. There used to be many routes into study for those who didn’t make the cut first time - cheap FE evening classes, extra-mural university departments, low cost Open University modules. What is *wrong* with these people?

When I see this kind of totalizing, hate-stoking language, I think back on the testimony of Brandon Boulware, who—like Elon—is the father of a transgender child. m.youtube.com/watch?v=h60YLG…

For those concerned about today's arrests, Proportional Commons would remind everyone that the Public Order bill and Police bill only became law because seats don't match votes 👇

affects everything that Parliament does.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to understand that twelve year old white boys on twitch are not being pulled into fascism because of some Machiavellian desire to preserve and expand their privileges, it’s because the right talks to them and the left doesn’t

So if I'm reading this right, Dan's argument seems to be:

When you support something because you think it's a good idea and would work, that's ideology.

However, when you support something because you think it would work and is a good idea, that's pragmatism. Got it!
