Tomorrow, my friends and I are organizing a demonstration outside the Georgian Embassy in London to condemn the latest attempt of the pro-Russian Georgian government to pass a Russian Law aimed at undermining Georgian civil society, democratic principles, and EU integration.

Several hundred people have gathered outside the Georgian Parliament to protest the government’s draft foreign agent law. The bill is expected to be approved by parliament’s bureau later today. Several media outlets, including OC Media, have been denied entry to parliament.

Many journalists didn't get a pass to get inside the parliament, including OC Media. Those who have passes or accreditation are currently not let in. They claim there is some 'technical issue'.

The real face behind Georgian Dream

In one week, Georgian Dream has shamelessly aligned itself with Russia again by reintroducing the Russian Law on Foreign Agents, abolishing gender quotas, and spearheading a crusade against what they frame as “LGBTQ propaganda,” solidifying its status as a Kremlin puppet.

These men are claiming that they are abolishing quotas in the name of equality and women’s rights. Meanwhile, they patronizingly advise female parliament members to “calm their emotions,” thus actively perpetuating the very “gender biases” they claim to oppose.
