On 4th July 2024, Josh Babarinde OBE MP wrote his name in the history books. The people of Eastbourne elected him, ousting the Tories by the largest margin in a generation. No person of Black heritage had ever been elected to Parliament as a Liberal Democrats MP. Until today.
