Non-Communicable Diseases ( #NCD s ) are the second leading cause of death among adults in Malawi. We're helping community members control and prevent #NCD s through the promotion of healthy lifestyles. This week, our team in Rumphi has reached 613 women with #NCD awareness messages.

April 10, 2024, we had the opportunity to appreciate the training of community SASA! facilitators in action. We've trained 60 facilitators to support our interventions in Lilongwe. This is being made possible with the support of VIIV Health Care under the Positive Action window.

Period poverty prevents girls from enjoying their right to education. We're excited that we've completed the training of 62 girls at Nanchiwe Primary School in Chitipa as ToTs in making reusable sanitary pads.

Thanks #VIIVHealthCare , we are currently training 45 young people in Lilongwe to utilise Theatre for Development as a tool for engaging communities and the youth in promoting the uptake of Youth-Friendly Health Services and addressing various factors that fuel the spread of HIV.
