Our latest in The BMJ w/ Christopher Wallis (he/him/his) & Angela Jerath MD, MSc & Justin B. Dimick . Patient mortality was slighly lower for female surgeons than for male surgeons for elective surgeries, whereas no difference was observed for non-elective surgeries.
