UPenn housestaff would the first residents in Pennsylvania to unionize. We are determined to not only improve patient care at UPenn, but to set standards for what residency and equity in healthcare should be.
A pilot study by Alisse Hauspurg, MD, Esa Davis, & more demonstrated the feasibility of home #BloodPressureMonitoring paired with a lifestyle intervention in the first year of #postpartum .

A high proportion of women who develop hypertension in pregnancy will subsequently develop chronic hypertension. A pilot study has shown that post-partum home BP monitoring and a guided-lifestyle intervention is feasible and appreciated by patients.
