The Speaker met a delegation from the European Parliament International Trade Committee led by Committee Chair Bernd Lange MEP. The delegation also included the Chair and Vice-Chair of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly, MEP Nathalie Loiseau and MEP Sean Kelly.

MEPs of INTA Committee Press committee met at NI Assembly with Speaker Alex Maskey and MLAs representing main parties to discuss NI Protocol. This is the first official EP delegation to the UK since Brexit.

Delighted to welcome this EU Parliamentary Committee on their first visit to engage with the Assembly and parties. The MEPs bring commitment to work together as appropriate and hopes that our post Brexit relations are positive

Looking forward now to engaging with the more than 4000 Slovak citizens living and working amongst us
