A masterpiece of Minoan art.

This small rock crystal vessel is a work of technical and artistic perfection created by a skilled artisan some 3,500 years ago!

Some 1,500 years ago, a child was buried with a set of game pieces made of animal bones. Single game pieces are frequently found in early medieval graves in south-west Germany, but complete sets are rare.
Found in Herbolzheim, 500-550 AD.

Bronze Age hoards weren’t just about metal - this perfectly preserved, 3,000 year-old flower was found INSIDE the hollow end of an axe! 🥀
