Hendon is an incredible place to live, learn and work. That’s why I was so pleased to welcome Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to Hendon, to see first hand our local institutions, vibrant communities and thriving businesses.

It was great to welcome Defence Secretary Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP to Ner Yisrael in Hendon last month.

Recent events show that we must stand together in solidarity with Israel. I am committed to tackling the rise of anti-semitism, and supporting our local Jewish community.

Residents across our area are calling to scrap ULEZ. I’m listening. And I’m working with you to ensure we get rid of ULEZ ASAP.

I took Sadiq Khan to court last year to get rid of ULEZ. And as your MP, I’ll use every weapon in our arsenal to get rid of this damaging tax.

Faith-based hate crime’s almost doubled in Barnet, with antisemitism and anti-Muslim hatred unfortunately at an all time high. This is unacceptable.

If elected as your MP, I’ll continue working with local residents and faith groups to tackle hate wherever it rises.

Colindale Station needs to be upgraded so it’s fit for purpose. But we also need replacement services during its closure so residents aren’t left stranded like they have been this week.

Crime is continuing to rise across London. Serious crime is getting worse in Barnet. And yet we’re still not getting our fair share of police in our area.

You need an MP who will fight for our fair share. And I’ll work to ensure that we get the extra police we deserve.

I’m hearing from residents about lots of chaos this morning given closure of Colindale Station. Just goes to show we need more comms from TfL, and need to ensure replacement services are available in June.
