A simple thing I’ve done in launching “Reimagine People Development” is a dedicated morning and afternoon break to stop think about the client work. Previously I “steamed” through the day, from meeting to meeting, slurping on the go! Planned reflection is paying huge dividends!

In innovating we cannot underestimate the impact of the “organisational flywheel”; the momentum created by entrenched behaviour, thinking and systems that maintain the status quo. The challenge is to stop the investment in counterproductive energy with a compelling new vision!

Fab day working today with the British Standards Institute global learning leaders on innovation. The the Design Museum and “Designer-Maker-User” exhibition was inspirational. I love this place! Delighted the newly formed “Reimagine People Development” consultancy is adding value!

Wonderful birthday treat making beer at the London Beer Lab under the arches in Brixton. Experienced brewing an English bitter with 10 grains in the mix with my good buddy Lennie. Great to be instructed by people with such a passion and expertise for their “scientific” craft!

First time working with Vyond for a client work to create agile animations; have to say the AI capabilities are amazing. For me, especially helpful on text-to-speech and ease of updating characters, scenes and objects. Even got brand colours sorted in a few minutes!

Go piglet! A great reminder from A.A.Milne … let’s not forget to show some kindness to someone this weekend. The weird thing is giving generously and even randomly always makes us feel better too!

Week 1 of consulting done though official launch is May! Busy but encouraging. Contracted with 5 clients, 1 site visit, branding and website on the way, trialling an AI solution and “Organizational Learning Communities” book proofed and in. Going for a nice walk today! #Balance

One for the timeline! First day’s consulting complete even though ‘Reimagine People Development’ doesn’t officially launch until May. But some fab clients already engaged and live. And a trip to The the Design Museum prepping for a forthcoming team ideation day being held there!
