حقّقت منظمة الصحة العالمية ووزارة الصحة اللبنانية أهدافا مرحلية استراتيجية مثل الاستراتيجية الوطنية للصحة. وسنستمر في العمل معا إلى مدى أبعد من الطوارئ الصحية، مثل الإصلاحات الصحية والحلول الصحية المحلية، من أجل نظام صحيّ أكثر قدرة على الصمود يستطيع تحمّل الصدمات في المستقبل.

Lebanon is very pleased to welcome HananBalkhyحنان بلخي, the Regional Director of WHO/EMRO. On her first day, she met with the Prime Minister, Minister of Health, and partners. She expressed WHO's commitment to continue supporting Lebanon's health system during this challenging period.

We will make sure that Lebanon’s views are represented at the highest forums, and that the country has the resources to address its health needs. I look forward to our continued collaboration.

It is,also very impressive to see Lebanon pivot towards primary health care ( #PHC ) and universal health coverage ( #UHC ) to make its health system more efficient and reduce financial hardship for all who need to access health services in the country.

Pleasure to meet 🇱🇧 Prime Minister, His Excellency Najib Mikati. Health and economy are interrelated: the 3 WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean flagship initiatives on supply chain, health workforce and substance use will support #Lebanon to overcome health challenges and build on its existing strengths.
