Good meeting w/ Hon.Ken.Ofori Atta, #V20 Chair. We talked about how we can best support vulnerable countries against different types of shocks, and how strong international engagement can help them achieve development.

Great news! 🇧🇪, 🇩🇰, 🇫🇷,🇩🇪, 🇮🇹, 🇯🇵, 🇱🇻, 🇳🇱, 🇳🇴, 🇬🇧, and 🇺🇸 announced commitments totaling $11 billion!

These resources pledged could provide up to $70 billion in urgently needed funds, which can be deployed to address cross-border challenges & advance development goals!

Terrific convening of clients & partners to surface lessons & innovations in tackling air pollution, which kills around 7M people annually. We need the best possible knowledge, financing & partnerships to ensure everyone has access to clean air, for a livable planet #WBGMeetings

Important discussion on how to close the investment gap to help countries achieve water security & climate resilience. We cannot do it alone – we need partnerships, w private sector, w MDBs - and an ambitious #IDA21 to ensure continued investment to countries who need it most.
