Today's Assembly Committee for the Executive Office focuses on #rights & #equality & the dedicated mechanism for protecting rights post-Brexit. Chief Commissioners of Equality Commission & NIHRC presenting. NI's gap in protection from age discrimination when accessing goods, facilities & services has been noted.
The Assembly Committee for the Executive Office met with the Equality Commission, NIHRC, Human Rights Consortium NI - Wednesday 17 April, 2pm to discuss the dedicated mechanism (DM). The Human Rights Commission and the Equality Commission have duties and powers to monitor, supervise, advise, enforce, and report on DM.
