Susan stresses Child Payment is creating change; it's independent from other benefits and supports most marginalised families.

Take up has been high; however, study from Joseph Rowntree Foundation urges Essentials Guarantee to go even further to reduce child poverty.

Susan McKellar from Scottish Women's Convention now giving an overview of Scottish policies to reduce child poverty. Child Payment builds on series of policies - but focus on women's poverty also needed for change.
