Did everyone have a good patch long weekend? Any #patchgold ? A couple of Poms for me, including a lovely pale phase adult with spoons and a female-type Long-tailed Duck on Friday evening at Barmston
Weekend coastal walks via rail. A Boulmer bladderwracky beach curly sandpaper (overpassed by a flock of four Arctic skuas!); offshore duck passage; southbound pinkies; migrating brents. The biggest delight, though, was c.50 Greenfinches feeding on sea rocket seeds Northumberland & Tyneside Bird Club
