Looking forward to speaking at the South Central Renaissance Conference later this week in beautiful Savannah, GA. I've now chosen some books to be ordered with my £100 prize voucher, which was graciously given to me by The University of Buckingham / Buckingham English. It's always enjoyable searching for new books to read.
Real thrill to hear Judith Flanders talking about her new book Rites of Passage at Collected Books Durham last night. She was the deciding factor in me undertaking my MA in Dickens research at Buckingham English (being one of the seminar speakers). That decision changed the course of my life.
Attended graduation at beautiful The University of Buckingham. Thankful (surprised) to be awarded Davis/Drew prize. Photo taken with Prof John Drew to celebrate. It was lovely to catch up with my primary and secondary supervisors, Sarah Waters and Pete Orford. More photos/videos to come.
It's graduation day here at The University of Buckingham so that means one thing: bring out the cufflinks!
