It's #WorldImmunizationWeek ! Vaccines are one of the most effective innovations in history & @Gavi and partners deliver them to children around the world to protect against diseases.
Do you know how many future deaths @Gavi has prevented through life-saving vaccines?
This #WorldMalariaDay , let’s recommit to a world free of this deadly but preventable disease.
Country leadership, complemented by partners like The Global Fund, @Gavi & @PMI will help #EndMalaria and save millions of children’s lives.
Imagine a world where every child has the chance to grow up healthy. Thanks to vaccines, this world is #HumanlyPossible .
With 6 lives saved each minute, vaccines are one of the best investments to stop outbreaks and safeguard the futures of children everywhere.

During World Health Worker Week, we salute the #polio health workforce across the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean Region. No river is too wide, and no mountain is too high in their endeavours to reach every child with vaccines and to search for any traces of poliovirus. #WorldHealthWorkerWeek
Progress in polio eradication and in every aspect of global health is not possible without the leadership of women. Looking forward to hearing the insights from WomenLift Health Global Conference because we need more women in every place where decisions are made. #ReImaginingLeadership
Recently, I enjoyed visiting our partners at Imperial College London to learn about their work on global infectious disease surveillance & modeling and another reminder of the importance of vaccines to prevent infectious diseases. #VaccinesWork
10 years ago today, the South-East Asia Region (World Health Organization South-East Asia) was certified wild polio-free, but the fight for a polio-free world continues. Through high-level commitment to vaccination & community engagement efforts like those seen across the region, we will #EndPolio everywhere.
Today the Gates Foundation is committing up to $180 million to increase global HPV vaccine coverage, support research, and develop new prevention & diagnostic tools. Together, we can build a future without cervical cancer. gatesfoundation.org/ideas/media-ce…
