Recently, I enjoyed visiting our partners at Imperial College London to learn about their work on global infectious disease surveillance & modeling and another reminder of the importance of vaccines to prevent infectious diseases. #VaccinesWork

10 years ago today, the South-East Asia Region (World Health Organization South-East Asia) was certified wild polio-free, but the fight for a polio-free world continues. Through high-level commitment to vaccination & community engagement efforts like those seen across the region, we will #EndPolio everywhere.

India's Poshan Tracker, developed as part of @WCDMinistry’s POSHAN 2.0, is transforming nutrition programs across India. The tool cuts costs, expands coverage, and speeds up nutrition information systems, significantly improving data-driven decision-making.

Leading up to #IWD2024 , global & regional health leaders gathered in Cartagena to work towards one goal: ensuring all women around the world can live lives free of #cervicancer . Efforts like these go a long way toward placing women at the center of conversations around health.
