Congrats to Dillon Bailey on his wedding! Best wishes to him and his new bride, Claire, as they embark on their new life & journey together. We met 7 years ago when he was just a sophomore in HS. I knew then he was gonna be a special player, but he is an even better young man!
Time only moves in one direction. You canât change last year, last month or even yesterday. Thereâs no room for regret or what ifâs. Live where you are right now & focus on what you can do to improve your present/future. Time is important. Take advantage of every second you have!
More GREAT news today! Congrats to our 2026 PG Leeguod on her 1st Division 1 offer from Sugar Bear Basketball! We are proud and happy for you Char! Can't wait to keep working and watching you grow. #goreddogs
Stop blaming your parents, friends, teachers, coaches or âbad luckâ. Itâs a concept the whiney, pampered, excuse-making, entitled masses will never get:
Work!! Busting your butt, breaking a sweat & earning it just flat out feels great. Thereâs not a better feeling in the world!
Courage is your beginning. Itâs taking the 1st step even when you donât know the outcome. Itâs knowing that failure is a possibility, & even likely, but putting that fear aside to embark on your journey anyway. Itâs giving yourself a chance, an opportunity, no matter how it ends!
Parents often say âWhat will I do when I donât have a practice/game to take my kids to anymore?â When you do something every week, every season, you donât realize how much itâs part of your life until itâs not. Same is true for athletes. You donât get this time back. Cherish it!
Coaches: Trust what you see in a player. Donât worry about what offers he/she has or hasnât already gotten. If you like the player & believe he/she will be a good fit for your program, then make the offer. Donât keep second guessing. Trust your instincts. Usually, thatâs enough!
