Really tragic story. Human-wildlife conflict can be devastating for the affected people.

*Feral* horses. It's amazing the lengths that people will go to to save their favourite domestic species, without imagining that they may have a negative impact on wild species. Spotted hyaenas were killed for the sake of Namibia's feral horses.
