This @[email protected] (they/them) post about negative exceptionalism and fake criticism is required reading for anybody interested in building codes – you’ll hit bingo every time you ask a code or fire official why we can’t have what Europe or Asia has pedestrianobservations.com/2022/08/18/neg…

Without enforcement, Vision Zero is impossible. It’s why I support speed and red light cameras alongside a fully staffed police department.

We can end traffic deaths with common sense measures to bring sanity back to our streets.

This dude just tried to claim that declining homicide data is 'missing NYC, Chicago, KC, LA, DC, Houston, Minneapolis' ...

By quote-tweeting an article that shows annualized homicide rates declined
- 16% in NYC
- 9% in Chicago
- 9% in KC
- 7% in DC
- 26% in Houston
- 2% in MSP

City Council held up Bus Revolution because 200 meetings wasn't sufficient. Where was Council when this mess happened? We could have used some meetings before implementing this. The district would have found out very quickly that everyone hates this idea.

This idea that the forgivability of PPP was not clearly part of the program design from the very beginning is just obviously wrong. Here's a CNBC article from March 2020

NYC subway fare evasion post-pandemic is completely normalized in a way it wasn't before.

At my stop a crowd just waits for the train to pull up, and for someone to walk through the emergency gate... then they all just walk onto the platform.
