Some thoughts from the Jon Fosse marathon I attended on Monday:

- The doubling of characters — Old Man / Young Man — is really effective on the stage.
- The same characters existing in 3 timelines without any indication of time shifts in Dream of Autumn also very effective.

Book purchases today. New books from Charco Press and Europa Editions (I wasn’t even aware of the Sarr, so, Europa, keep me better informed!!). The Barry is a replacement for a lost copy, my favorite of his novels. MM,MD is for a more courageous reader friend 🤣😂🤣

Miss MacIntosh, My Darling by Marguerite Young is an epic marvel. Any lit lover must experience this 1965 novel, recently reissued by Dalkey Archive
