My cameras filmed a goshawk enjoying a dip in the pond at Ash Wood 💦 😯
This is the first time I've ever seen one here & it really is magnificent. Watch it catch a rat 🐀 then toy with it
Goshawks are huge - about four times the size of a sparrowhawk!

Excited to share that in our recent HogWatch survey in Kingston we found a nationally Critically Endangered pine marten (Martes martes). This is the first record of the species in over a century in London!

Finished yesterday off with a boat trip - Pilot Whales, Bottlenose Dolphins, lots of Corys then jammed in on a Euro ✅ with Ruppells Vulture at Algarrobo 👍 also loads HB’s, Black Kites, Alpine Swifts, Bee Eaters, STE, Booted, 1 Bonellis & 100’s White Stork passing 😎 fab week.

Todays bird of the day was almost the dark morph hunting Montys, plus 4 fresh juvs, then the Black Winged Kites but trumped by the Red Necked Nightjar experience! 4 confiding birds, on the road! #andalucia #birds still many raptors on the move Gibraltar Birds & waders inc C Sand

So yesterday we hit Donana; scored 104 sp in the day. So many highlights inc Caspian Terns fishing with Osprey; Black, White Storks, GW, L & C Egrets, N Heron, Spoons, Flamingoes and more waders than I can count! Ended with Little Swift colony👌pics on iPhone thro SWAROVSKI OPTIK

After tagged Montagu's harrier male Jaco died, his nest was protected and from that moment on visited 2x a day by volunteer Hilbrand Schoonveld. He helped the female by supplemental feeding the young so they got a chance to fledge. And fledge they did!
