Bird survey on an organic dairy farm in the middle of Derbyshire this morning. In the Top 5 counts in 2 hours were 13 Song Thrushes and 12 Skylarks👍 Also 9 Brown Hares

34 species on my Breeding Bird Surveys square at Lower Hartshay, Derbyshire, this morning. Feels a bit below par, but must be the first time I've ever recorded more than 200 of one species. One guess 🤔

I couldn't relocate the earlier reported Redstart but some nice birds below Locko Grange with Yellowhammer, Swallow (5), Skylark (2), Whitethroat (3), Linnet (10) & RL Partridge.
