Last week, I celebrated the 10th anniversary since the discovery of the #Higgsboson #Higgs10 ; the start of #LHCRun3 , the new season for #physics .

And… my fourth anniversary at CERN. I could not have imagined that I would be doing it directly from the CERN Control Centre.😌

#OnThisDay in 2012, the ATLAS Experiment and @CMSexperiment announced the discovery of the Higgs boson. Its existence confirms the existence of the “Higgs field”, which gives mass to elementary particles.

📣 Beam in the accelerator!

After over three years of intense upgrade work, we are #restartingLHC .

Two beams of #protons are now circulating in opposite directions around the Large Hadron Collider, expecting to reach the record energy of 13.6 TeV in the summer of 2022.
