Darran Jaques 🐦 Anemone nemorosa 'Vestal' is a delightful variety of wood anemone that graces the woodland floor with its delicate beauty. Its pure white flowers, tinged with hints of green, emerge in early spring, creating a carpet of ethereal blooms that seem to glow in the dappled sunlight.
If you see dead or dying plants in your local supermarket or DIY store, please post pictures, name and shame the shop and tag me in your post. Let’s see if we can shame them into respecting their plant stock! #wateryourplants
Philip Clayton Sainsbury's 🇺🇦 Constance CraigSmith 🇮🇱 Same story @LidlGB in Street today. In fact common place with supermarkets- clearly they can afford this wastage!
Julie Penny 🇺🇦 Philip Clayton Sainsbury's 🇺🇦 Constance CraigSmith 🇮🇱 @LidlGB It does. They don’t let this happen to the fresh fruit, veg and flowers so they can look after this sort of product. 🤷♂️
Alan E Down Philip Clayton Sainsbury's 🇺🇦 Constance CraigSmith 🇮🇱 @LidlGB Absolutely Alan, in these times of tight budgets for everyone, rubbing everyone’s nose in it by allowing produce to spoil through lack of care underlines the way these huge businesses think about us mere mortals!
Darran Jaques 🐦 So this caught my eye Dunham Massey National Trust
It wasn’t labelled but I thought it was an anemone.
I think you’ve answered my question…😊
This Sainsbury's is WASTE. You harp on about reducing plastic packaging, but what is the carbon footprint of countless dead plants, caused by utter incompetence? Every year I tweet about this at your Oxney Road Peterborough branch and yet you NEVER learn. FUMING. 🇺🇦 Constance CraigSmith 🇮🇱
