I fully support the @UKHACC calling on the GMC 'to recognise its predicament and seek all possible ways—including if necessary changes to the Medical Act—to avoid removing the livelihood of doctors who are concerned and courageous enough to break what they see as immoral laws'

Indeed, 'doctors should (...) have a voice to speak out when patient safety is at risk and never be silenced when raising evidence-based concerns. Climate change, its effect on the planet, weather patterns, future health and even the survival of the human race is evidence based.'

Nonviolent climate protests by medical staff should be applauded, not punished.

Sarah was the first other medical student I met when I started medical school. I’ve been struggling to think of anyone in my year who was less likely to end up in front of the GMC. She’s both brilliant and caring. The GMC’s judgement is wrong.
