Despite notable progress, the U.S. offshore wind industry is still in its infancy. As w/ any new sector, challenges are expected & require resolve from fed, state & private sector to overcome. NYSERDA will take proactive measures to address these issues head-on. Next steps soon.

NY is the FIRST state whose IRA Home Electrification/Appliance Rebates Program application was approved by U.S. Department of Energy and will expand NYSERDA’s EmPower+ program so low income NYers can access energy efficient upgrades for their homes.  governor.ny.gov/news/governor-…
