There is much we agree with in the InquiryCSA's report - but we'd like to see recommendations go even further.

Mandatory reporting without a criminal penalty is mandatory in name only. Children are helped by actions, not intentions.

🪡 Some info about SA survivors: 1 in 6 women (16.7%), 1 in 33 men (3.03%) have been victims of attempted or completed rape in the US.

37% are reported. Less than 20% of cases make it to trial. Only 1% result in conviction. Only 2% of reported cases are deemed false. A study in Wales & England found a man is 230 times more likely to be a victim than be falsely accused.

#LynnSteinberg , who is regularly given the authority by the #California #FamilyCourt to violently remove children from the care of their safe parents, adamantly opposes 'The Keeping Children Safe From Family Violence Act' aka #KaydensLaw .
