Waldeyer’s racist colonial anatomy work categorised African brains as inferior, likening them to monkeys.

Nazis aren’t the only eponyms we should remove from our medical lexicon.

As a consultant clinical psychologist, can I tell you nothing is less true. It is incredibly difficult to get disability benefits. It is not just a case of going to the GP and self-declaring. Claimants are constantly being assessed and reassessed to get and keep needed benefits.

I regularly see trans and gender-diverse patients in my clinic

I address them by their preferred names and pronouns, in accordance with their wishes

This bill seeks to make that an offence

This is politics, not best interests for LGBT+ young people
