Just think about how many people are affected by their work? It’s mind boggling! Yet, it has an anti-screening bias!
Don’t take my word for it. Listen to my short video t/ includes the Chair of t/ Task Force talking about screening in general. Link 👇🧵⅔ #ScreenBetterCanada
It is unlikely that CTFPHC | GECSSP will be influenced. Their leadership has made their bias clear in mainstream and social media, and lectures to The College of Family Physicians of Canada that they will not lower the screening age, even though it would save lives, save money, and improve quality of life.
Grateful that you have taken a science- based leadership role. Health Canada and PHAC should consider adopting your guidelines instead of those from CTFPHC | GECSSP that exclude current evidence
How will 🇨🇦 respond to the increase in breast cancer cases in younger women? Rising incidence was a key factor in the US decision to lower the screening age to 40. What do you say CTFPHC | GECSSP? Thank you Jean Seely, MD CTV News for this insightful segment. ctvnews.ca/video/c2911627…
Another wonderful research paper by Jean Seely, MD Anna Wilkinson and others. theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…
Congratulations on great review article on pre-op MRI Jean Seely, MD Supriya Kulkarni. Reduced contralateral metachronous cancer due to early detection. Reduced reoperation by 70% with ILC Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance. Society of Breast Imaging. DenseBreast-Info.org
Thank you to Anna Wilkinson for the marathon of interviews she did yesterday, getting the message out there that the CTFPHC | GECSSP guidance needs an overhaul for the safety of our patients.

Dr. Brian Goldman White Coat Black Art And if they had listened to your coverage, maybe my cancer wouldn't have been found so late. The inaction on this issue is leading to deaths and unnecessary suffering.
