Corlee Thomas-Hill a Tribal Liaison with the Southeastern Grassland Initiative visitied the MEM today to see our collection and to discuss grassland conservation in the Southeast.

Ernst Mayr Grant recipient Manuel Barria visited the MCZ from the University of Panama to review type material and identify Phyllophaga (May beetles) specimens in our collection from Panama. He also identified other species of Phyllophaga from Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
