This effort, aimed at promoting a Green Rwanda, falls under the Food and Agriculture Organization Green Cities initiative to build resilient urban food systems.

One concrete example was how FAO in Rwanda supported Eza Neza, a youth-led green enterprise, to implement the first urban vertical farm in City of Kigali using hydroponic technology.

This week, I had the opportunity to attend the Global Conference of Decent Jobs for Youth 2024, themed 'Young, Green and Digital.'
This conferennce was organized by the International Labour Organization and other organizations such as Generation Unlimited from May 22-23, 2024 at Ubumwe Grande Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda
