What a day! Thanks to @mancitycouncil grant and expert installer Jan from Sheffield Swift Network we put up 20 boxes on 9 buildings. All near known swift nests so we'll keep our fingers crossed over the next couple of years.
A busy day. Attended the excellent first #repaircafe organised by Greener Greenhill. Got our hair trimmers repaired, donated these hedge trimmers I pulled out my neighbour's wheeliebin(!) and ate delicious gome made cake. Thank you all involved!
I think this is one of the best views in the Hope Valley #peakdistrict

And then down to Woodseats Playground to check out Woodseats Playground latest recent improvements. As well as improved play equipment and seating they have planted more trees and introduced more landscaping and less tarmac ππ³πΈ NatureSheffield Sheffield Parks

Good morning everyone wishing you a lovely day πheading towards Stanage Edge yesterday, looking back to Hordron Edge. So wonderful to hear the haunting sounds of the moorland birds. Lovely lapwings, curlews calling and the fluted tones of golden plovers π

Huge thank you to everybody that participated in the public consultation. 1557 responses to date packed with great ideas; these will be invaluable in our funding bids. Results will be shared soon & will inform the restoration & refurbishment. Ruth Hubbard Save GV Trees
