Chief Minister Kristina Moore & Minister Philip Ozouf 🇯🇪 met with Secretary of State Michael Gove this afternoon. Various subjects were discussed including the agenda for the upcoming British Irish Council Summit & the positive ongoing work of Jersey-France relations.

Constructive and positive conversations were had today in London when Chief Minister of Jersey & Minister Philip Ozouf 🇯🇪 met with Alex Chalk KC MP, recently appointed Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, along with fellow representatives from the Crown Dependencies.

This evening we celebrated an important milestone - the unveiling of the stained-glass windows here in Speaker’s House. They are, and will forever be, tangible reminders of the strong and close links between the UK, The Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies.

This week a number of Channel Islands will be celebrating their national days. These are their Liberation Days, which mark the end of their occupation during the Second World War. Today we are flying the flags of Jersey and Guernsey outside the Palace of Westminster.
