I've never met someone who lives on PIP benefits an average of less than £50 a week who has any kind of extravagance.

But there are dozens of MP's claiming £1000 a week to pay their rent, or £3000+ to pay their energy bills.

Then they get £94k a year salary as well.

This is what a privileged background, expensive private education, and never having done a hard day's graft does to you.... We really do need a fucking revolution.

This song is about the hill of children's shoes in Auschwitz - it breaks my heart every time I hear it - and nobody sings it better than CBS - nobody

This is why the Tories are going to be wiped out.

Because there’s only so long that they can get away with abusing their power to hurt people and breaking everything we value and need…
while gorging themselves on riches, peerages and treats.

That time ran out a while ago.

If Jonathan Swift were alive today he would be turning in his grave - the world has slid beyond satire into lunacy - this is on the same day I discover they are trying to build a harbour for famine relief in Gaza from the rubble of what was the city. There is no God - just a ?

And his sense of entitlement leads him to believe he is 'good at' being Foreign Secretary. It couldn't be that he is being thought of as a future PM? Shirley Knott? Would the Tories be that hard nosed and cynical? Nah...but then again...look at Fabricant and Mogg and Shapps

Cllr Ben Bradley MP Are you the guy that said benefit claimants will spend any extra money they receive in brothels and crack dens. Asking for your constituency.

Always predicted City of London would suffer which I proudly represented for 20 years. I was dismissed as scaremongering but was actually seermongering as it was obvious € trade would be repatriated to the continent by EU states like France & Germany wanting their business back!

The full might of Susan Hall’s mayoral campaign in Trafalgar Square today.

100 people singing songs about ULEZ cameras to the tune of Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep.

Some dressed as Dayglo dinosaurs.

You had to be there (except I was, and it was shite)!

Why I wrote Dirty Linen: recording the toll the Troubles took on my parish, the long tail of trauma. How faint a trace our commonplace atrocities leave on the historical record and national consciousness, yet how indelibly they mark the lives left behind. irishtimes.com/culture/books/…
