Sad news to tell. We are so upset that one of our beautiful Mums Elizabeth Sweeney has died without recognition or validation for herself or her daughter Sandra. Both are innocent victims in the 60 year old Thalidomide tragedy.

The RTE Investigates documentary into abortion services was harrowing

Six years after Repeal, women are still being traumatised, stigmatised and penalised

This suffering would end if the law was amended

When will the govt act?

Very good news for healthcare workers with Long Covid. Thank you Róisín Shortall for your advocacy today.

This will come as a great relief for many healthcare workers but we need an occupational injury scheme devised & no more financial cliff edge scenarios every three months.

IFPA CEO: has shone a light on the harsh reality of the exclusionary & restrictive provisions in the law. It is unacceptable that a year after the publication, no legislative reforms have come before the Oireachtas.

“What did we vote for?”

Six years after we , women are still being forced to travel to the UK for healthcare.

The government has sat on Marie O’Shea’s report for a year.

How many more women have to suffer before they act?

There are only 38 homes nationwide available for people on Housing Assistance Payment (HAP).

The HAP system is expensive, dysfunctional and provides no security for renters.

Focus and resources should be targeting new build social and affordable homes.

If your house is on fire, you throw everything at it. You don't put some money away in a savings account to buy a fire extinguisher in 2 yrs.

There's no urgency in the Govt Climate and Nature fund proposal for 2026.

We are in crisis now

Govt decision to scrap insulting Green Paper proposals on disability payments is welcome, says Holly Cairns TD

'A focus on disability is so badly needed.

'Real reform should include a weekly cost of disability payment and proper funding of services.'

Disabled people's lives are being destroyed due to completely inadequate or non-existent services.

Services that this government don't seem to believe they have an obligation to provide.

Each day it becomes more clear - improvement is only possible with a general election.

And yet, Irish sent a team of lawyers over to fight this case? We were the only country, other than Switzerland, to make a verbal intervention...

Make it make sense 🙄

Do we really need to wait for our kids to bring us to court for the penny to drop that we just can’t continue our current business-as-usual model – we must transform our economy & society to ensure an environment necessary for everyone to survive & thrive

The new Taoiseach Simon Harris has been in office for almost his entire adult life.

He says he is bringing a new energy and a new approach - but where is the evidence for that?

A better Ireland can't be achieved with more of the same.

For that we need a new Govt.

Ireland is no country for young people, says Holly Cairns TD

Last year, 21,000 young people left for Australia

Many don't want to go, but cannot continue living in their childhood bedrooms

This govt hasn’t just destroyed dreams of homeownership

They destroyed people's hope
