Tula Daan (तुला दान)

Tula Daan is considered as a Mahadaan in Hindu texts.

Its history dates back to Sri Krishna's time.

The first photo is that of the Hindu Devi Sri - Gajalakshmi. The two elephants that are bathing her are the two nidhis- Sankha and Padma. This iconography is clearly defined in the Vishnudharmottara (III. 82, 7 ; and 82, 10).

The Earliest Sculpture of Rama.

A RARE Terracotta Sculpture of #SriRama , 5th c. CE, Haryana.
Currently at the LACMA.

He is identified as Sri Rama from Brahmi inscription, Gupta era.
