As the First ADMINISTRATOR of BMC since last 158 years of its existence,on Independence Day today,it was my singular privilege to hoist the National Flag & address the citizens of Mumbai for 2nd year in a row ,which otherwise has always been the prerogative of MAYOR of Mumbai.

Heavy rains lashed out in Mumbai today when there was high tide resulting in 125 MM of rainfall in just 2 hours.Team BMC did a commendable job with deployment of more than 400 dewatering pumps to drain out water by 6.00 pm as soon as the high tide settled down.
