Sclerotic fractures on CT are often described as 'remote' or 'chronic' because it's something that can be said pretty confidently. Unfortunately this descriptor sometimes ignores other salient features, such as a hypotrophic nonunion cleft with pain >6 months after injury.

Even with SpineJack, cement must fill across the midline of the vertebral body. If it isn't behaving (rarely happens), a high parapedicular access is a great way to add that necessary cement to the center.

Study the spinal imaging before surgery. It may be too late during surgery.

I love a good US-guided injection, but for wrist (STT+1st CMC), I can't see myself going back from fluoro. This can be done from one skin puncture with a 25G needle.
USG w/1 puncture could be done, but I also like STT arthrograms—lots of variant anatomy.
